Diagnostic Evaluations

Every child has their own story, and sometimes, families just want a clearer understanding of how to best support their child’s journey. At R&R Collaborative Therapy, our diagnostic evaluations are designed with you and your child in mind—personal, thoughtful, and focused on what matters most to your family.

When you come to us for an evaluation, you’ll meet with licensed clinicians who genuinely care about getting to know your child as a whole person—not just a checklist of symptoms. We use trusted, evidence-based tools, but we also rely on what you know best: your child’s everyday experiences, their strengths, and the things that make them unique. Your voice as a caregiver is a key part of this process.

The evaluation itself is thorough, but we keep it warm and collaborative. We’ll review your child’s developmental history together, spend time observing how they interact and play, and use assessments that fit their age and your concerns. Throughout it all, we invite your questions, your observations, and your hopes for your child’s future.

After the evaluation, we don’t just hand you a report and send you on your way. We’ll sit down with you for an in-person feedback session, walk you through what we’ve found, and answer any questions you have. You’ll receive a clear, detailed report with recommendations that are truly tailored to your child and family—plus ideas for next steps, connections to helpful services, and resources in your community if you need them.
